The Salon du Bourget - or in English "Paris Air Show" - is the world's biggest aeronautical trade fair. Well known for the large variety of displayed aircraft and traffic jams all around the area the 47th edition in 2007 made no exception. Falconwere rare, only the appearance of the Bell Agusta BA609 caused some attention on the technological side, and the thrust-vectored MiG-29 OVT on the military and noisy side.Besides that nothing spectacular happened regarding the hardware, but nevertheless it was very interesting to walk around and discover many interesting aircraft. As usual the opening of the show on Monday was under presence of a high French politician, this time France’s Prime Minister François Fillon. Wings over Houston Airshow

Wings over Houston 2017 was an awesome airshow! Plenty of warbirds, a Messerschmitt Me 262, jets from the Vietnam era, amongst them the venerable F-4D Phantom II, made up for a great program. This great mix on show at Ellington Airport in the South of Houston was enriched by aerobatic acts and the USAF Thunderbirds. With a 34-year long history the airshow is still very much alive and kicking!

Aeromiting Batajnica

The flight back from the 100th anniversary Air Show of the Serbian AIr Force from Batjanica was with mixed emotions. There were some very rare and unique aircraft and presentations to see, as a 'dogfight' between a MiG-21 and two MiG-29s, or local build and rare types such as the Orao and the Super Galeb.

Bell Cobra Flight

EAA Airventure at Oshkosh in 2017 saw a rare gathering of Bell Aircraft Cobras. Three P-63 Kingcobras and a P-39 Airacobra attended the ‘World’s greatest Aviation Celebration’, amongst them all Cobras belonging to the Commemorative Air Force (CAF): the P-39Q of the Central Texas Wing, the world’s sole flying P-63F of the “P-63 Sponsor Group” and the most recent addition, the P-63A of the Dixie Wing from Peachtree City, Georgia.
