good food!! :))Headlining the event was the Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and Tora! Tora! Tora!, a reenactment of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
Another big part in the flying was also the USAF Heritage Flight, featuring a 4-ship formation of a F-22, A-10, F-16 and P-38 Lightning. All of the aircraft were also flown as solo demos, always finsihing with a nice photo pass at the end of their displays ginving a good photo opportunity.

White Knight IThe civil highlight og the day was the presence of both Scaled Composites aicraft, the White Knight and White Knight II. These futuristic aircraft flew in from the nearby Mojave airport, home of the company's flight activitites. Presenting the future of civil space flight both jets added very well to the already overwhelming variety of the aircraft being presented at the show:

EAA Airventure at Oshkosh in 2017 saw a rare gathering of Bell Aircraft Cobras. Three P-63 Kingcobras and a P-39 Airacobra attended the ‘World’s greatest Aviation Celebration’, amongst them all Cobras belonging to the Commemorative Air Force (CAF): the P-39Q of the Central Texas Wing, the world’s sole flying P-63F of the “P-63 Sponsor Group” and the most recent addition, the P-63A of the Dixie Wing from Peachtree City, Georgia.

While being at the FINA CAF Airsho (2004 report) I hade the possibility for several flights in historic aircraft, including one in a Curits C-46 Command to go on a photo mission. While up in the air, a Mitsubishi Zero, 2 P-51 Mustangs, 3 B-25 Mitchel and a Gruman US-2B Tracker joined on our wings and provided excellent photo opportunities.
