Page 3 of 7 Friday, July 13th Friday, the 13th… Hopefully that is not a bad omen for the day. But it already started in the morning, because additionally to the grey sky from yesterday there was some light drizzling rain which not in favour of our motivation to get up and take some photos, but once again we drove to Fairford to try our luck. But that time we stayed outside to take our photos of the approaching aircraft which was all right as well, though the weather was even worse than the day before. Some practices were also done, especially the RAF Eurofighter Typhoon solo demo was really impressive, tearing the moisture out of the air during tight turns and fast fly-bys. After that the USAF F-15E Strike Eagle did the same and performed the USAF Heritage flight in formation with a P-51 Mustang.
Arrivals and Trainings on Friday  However, regarding the arrivals this morning was even slower than the day before and we left at midday to do some tourism.
