Page 2 of 5 Besides the CzAF Gripen the Belgian F-16 Solo Display has been the only other fast, and noisy, jet demo this year. The same country presented also a Sea King with a SAR presentation and the Agusta A109 as well as a C-130 Hercules on the ground, which did a nice fly-by at its arrival on Saturday. Other visiting Air Forces were France, who brought a beautifully painted Alpha Jet, celebrating 1.000.000 hours of Alpha Jet flying in the Armée de l' Air dating back to 1979, to Brno or Austria with the PC-6 demo including a waterdrop against wildlife fires. Presumably for readiness reasons the Slovak Air Forces remained absent with their MiG-29s and did only send a Mi-24, to which another example from Macedonia should have been added, but this one was unfortunately taken from the participants list on the last minute. Another rare view in the airshow sky was the Spanish C295M presenting its elegant lines and capabilities during a harmonic display routine.
