On Wednesday, 16/09, Panavia , the managing organisation for the Tornado celebrated the 40th anniversary of the signing og MoU 2 (Memorandum of Understanding) with a small event at the Lagerlechfeld airbase.
Besides several speeches a small programm was flown by Tornados, involving aircraft fromall three partner nations Germany, Great Britain and Italy.
Furthermore a total of six aircraft received special decorated fins to celebrate the anniversary:
